North Naples Real Estate Leads the Way in Third Quarter
The third quarter results of Naples home sales has been released by the Naples Area Board of Realtors (NABOR) and total closed sales (for all of Collier County, except Marco Island) increased by 3% over the same period last year. It is most interesting to note the geographic makeup of this change.
The Naples Beach area led the way with a staggering growth of closed sales of nearly 22.5%! North Naples and South Naples also experienced increases for the period, while Central Naples and East Naples showed a moderate decline. The same trend was also expressed in pending sales (those properties that are under contract but have not closed). Naples Beach again had the greatest increase, 10%, in pending sales for the third quarter compared to a year ago, followed closely by South Naples. Declines were registered in East Naples and Central Naples, while North Naples held steady from the previous year.
